Serenity opened her eyes, smiling broadly. She glanced up at a man who was holding her in his arms. She felt his warmth in his embrace, comforting. He began to speak but no words were heard. Serenity spoke back, still smiling and yet no sound. He leaned down and kissed her softly and some music played softly in the background, probably the only sound that was meant to be heard. Everything was black and white, laying in a field of the open inferno known as hell. But it was a peaceful place, a considerable countryside on hell's terms. A joke must have been cracked considering that they both began laughing, pleasure in each smile. The music slowed, along with the feeling that filled Serenity's body. More and more until it stopped and that feeling was gone.

The sound of marching feet pounded upon the ground in the distance. The man's smile was gone, taking Serenity's with it. He pulled Serenity off and placed her down as he stood up and looked over a desert hill. An orderly bunch of rebellious demons were heading in their direction, though ravage they looked. Sound rush into the air, that of screams and shrieks. Serenity felt herself grabbing the man's hand, edging him to run with her. He spoke and yet still no words were heard, but she knew exactly what they were. She felt the cold of a tear running down her cheek as she screamed to the man in the silent terror. He grabbed her head, pulling it in to him as he kissed her ever so passionately, but he soon pushed her back. He said one more thing to her, making the word out easily in the pictures as he yelled "Go!" to her.

She felt more tears seep out and trail down her cheeks. She began to run, not knowing exactly where she was going. She glanced back as the demons were now approaching the man she was with. She became numb, feeling her feet stop moving only to see one of the demons pummel the man to the ground as another took a sword it carried and puncture it into the man's body. Serenity felt her lungs tighten as she screamed, though it got the demons attention, they looked over to her. Her eyes widened and she turned back in a sprint. She had to get away, her pulse pounding her ribs savagely. She ran into a rocky plain that was closed more, easier to hide in. Not watching her footsteps, she fell into an under cavern and landed in a large pool of water.

She was freaking out, swimming frantically to the side where she hid in the shadows, listening to the pounding feet above her. She grabbed her knees to her head, curled in a ball and praying not to be found. She still cried, having lost someone she must have truly cared about.

She opened her eyes to see Aiden sitting by her, back in hell. Noticing the tears that were running down her face, she quickly wiped them away hoping he hadn't seen them. She looked at him, sitting up slightly. No words were spoken but Aiden looked at Serenity, seeing she was awake now.

Serenity gazed upon him as he leaned in and kissed her cheek. She felt her heart warm back up again, having lost it in her memories. She smiled at him lovingly.

"I'm fine, Aiden," she whispered. "Ouch." She reached up and touched the top of her head in which was bleeding from the hard hit of iron upon her skull. She pulled her hand away and gazed back to Aiden. He was truly beautiful to her. "Did you wait here until I were to wake this whole time?"

She felt her pulse catch back up with her reality, being here with Aiden. The man loved her, and it's exactly what she needed. Those were just old memories she saw; a thing of the past. She needed to move on, she now had Aiden with her. She found herself unable to look away from him, their eyes locked with invisible strings that drew tighter. She felt she was drawn closer to him, a need to feel him more.

It was a moment she wanted to last forever. She wanted to lay by him in all eternity. She only hoped that he would want the same, and perhaps move on that notion someday. Locked together in eternal matrimony.

She looked lovingly upon Aiden's eyes. But she still smiled.

"Yes... I was..." she trailed off.

Then she grabbed for Aiden's hand, holding it tight in her own. She continued to look deep into his eyes as he moved upon her, laying with him on top. She shifted under him to get as comfortable as possible. His weight on top of her was relaxing, she felt protected. She kissed him with the uttermost passion. Soon pulling away to look at him with a smile.

"I nearly forgot to say..." she began. "Thank you."

She brushed her hand upon his cheek lightly. What a lovely creature. She never wanted to spend another moment without him. Could this be what the mortals called true love? Or a possible infatuation? Would she eventually grow bored of him and they go their separate ways? Just the thought made her feel sick. She wanted anything but that. She wanted it to be true love. He made her heart race and fill with excitement. A rush of pure adrenaline. She refused to think it was infatuation, she had too many feelings to counter that.

Such thoughts made her eyes begin to tear again, but she didn't try to hide them this time.

Serenity let go off his hand, bringing it to Aiden's face. She gently dusted at his cheek, loving the feel of his skin. Whispers seeped from her throat and echoed into Aiden's ear.

"Because..." she began. "... I love you." She felt her heart warm with her words.

She couldn't help but to hug him now, bring him as close as she can get him to her. She wondered if she meant that.... but it felt so right.

"I do have to thank you," she spoke normally now. "This has got to be the best night I have ever had. I've grown so tired of feeding alone. I needed someone, and someone to be with my permanently." She hesitated, looking into his eyes again. She wanted to say more but her vocal chords failed to move when she opened her mouth.

Don't ever leave me! Her mind was screaming as Serenity's body just froze. Purpose to me! We can be together forever! Literally... Her head was pounding, probably hurting more from the injury upon her head. So she did the only thing she felt she was still capable of doing; she kissed him again. Then again, again once more, the thoughts from her head were trapped in there.

Only Aiden can find figure out what she wanted, though she was unable to say it. Perhaps he wanted the same thing. Maybe...

Serenity smiled so broadly at what he said. He loves me too? He loves me... And I love him... How else can this get any better... Oh wait, I know... *dirty thoughts* Heh, maybe. She laughed a little, knowing that Aiden probably wouldn't know why she laughed, she winked at him suggestively.

"Find out more you say?" she asked. "Well, ask away. I think I trust you enough to tell you what you want to know." Slowly, she leaned up and kissed him softly on the lips. Her way of "locking" in her trust on the boy. A kiss, a mysterious thing... How one kiss can show so much though it only lasts a second. Enough to reveal a whole lifetime. But she did trust Aiden. He wouldn't have gone this far nor took care of her if he had no other feelings for her.

Perhaps he wanted love too. Wait, no. He did want love, if not, he sure found it. But then he asked why she would cry for loving him. Was she to dive back into the past and reveal her past love? That was nearly half her lifetime ago, and yet she wasn't fully over it. It was a horrid day, and I horrid way to lose a love. But since then, the rebellious demons have been taken out. She didn't know what to do...

"It's..." she started. "It's a long story really... Are you sure you want to know?... I mean, it was just something of the past. And I'm a woman, I can cry for loving someone." She chuckled slightly, hoping he may too. Break the tension she felt inside of her. If he really wanted to know, though, she'd tell him...

Serenity drew in a deep breath, glancing away from Aiden. For what she was about to say hurt her greatly inside, and she couldn't look into the eyes of the one she loved to talk about another... She scratch at Aiden's shoulder lightly, not to cause any sort of pain to him.

She paused but then began, "My heart used to belong to another... A gently demon, a protector of Hell. One of the higher ranked guards... He treated me like I was the one he was guarding, like the loyalty of Satan's family. But I wasn't..." Her eyes glittered from the tears gathering upon them. "It was the time of the rebellious demon groups, though who decided to turn against the higher power. A savage group... Join them or die, they'd say. They preyed on off-duty guards, hoping the weaken the higher defenses. But they didn't know that the highest rank of guards were so much more powerful and were never off-duty."

Looking into her eyes, you could see the horrid images flashing across them, she was now digging into her deepest memories. Being as old as she was, to remember something as clear as she did was quite amazing. The rebels of hell were the terrorist group of hell over 2 centuries ago. Yet she remembered...

"I was with the one I loved... Derek, the name he chose when he bound himself to the demonic race, was taking me out to a place he found. The sky was a deep red, and what looked to be stars shined gently through the fire smoke. It beautiful..."

And Serenity stopped there... She felt uneasy and the pain that slowly purged into her mind again was causing her to choke up. She swallowed air, trying to keep the tears back and continued, but decided to make it brief.

"The rebels came over the hill, killed him and I ran..." She failed to notice how tight she was gripping Aiden's arms, her knuckles white from the grip. "My only love... gone..." Her strength broke, tears now stream down the side of her head. She pulled Aiden in to her, hugging him so very tight and she just cried. But having him just there seemed to absorb some of the pain from her body. She didn't want to let go...

Sucking the tears back down inside her, she glanced to Aiden, her heart pounding. He loves her? He does, he really does. Oh joy! She couldn't be happier. She smiled weary, hoping to ease him after all she just said, and loosening her grip on him.

"Tell me, why do you say 'anymore'," she asked curiously.

Anymore? He must have had a bad experience too. Well I want to fix that. I will give him the time of his life.

Before she knew it, she was kissing him again. She didn't even realize that she was doing it. That's how you know someone loves you, they do something like that without knowing. It just felt natural.

She paused, kissed him again, and paused to let him speak. Though he should hurry before she starts doing it again. (Lol)

Her pulse never calmed though, she wanted him to be so close to her that their hearts would pound in unison.

She felt his eyes upon her, rolling down her body and back up to her face. It was a warm feeling, that and the way he touched her. Seeming to be perfectly fine with the fact he doesn't want to share his past; didn't bother Serenity at all. Instead she was preoccupied with current actions being taken upon her body.

She smiled down at him pleasantly, far different from his wickedness. Her voice streamed out so sweetly from her mouth, "You have no need to tell me anything if you don't want to. Because I know you love me, that's all that matters right now." Withdrawing one of her hands from his, she caressed it softly along his chest over where his heart would be. A twisted grin formed out the corners of her lips. "This... This is mine now." She chuckled seeming to have cracked a joke.

But she leaned in and laid her head above that spot she touched, listening for his heart beat. There is something so soothing about listening to another's heartbeat, some quality about it was relaxing though it's just a muscle that pumps blood around the body. She could still feel her own pulse, creating a strange little rhythm betweens both of theirs together. Her free hand had moved to caressing other places above his waist.

Speaking again, Serenity heard her voice echo into his chest. "Doesn't your heart start to race when you get excited? Perhaps that's why mine is so fast." She glanced up at him, still with her ear on his chest. "Don't I make your heart race? Or do I need to be doing something to make you excited?"

She winked suggestively. Obviously having meaning behind that last comment. She looked back down, comforting her neck to continue listening. She closed her eyes and smiled, apparently loving to just lay there upon him; doing anything or nothing.

Hesitating to answer Aiden's questions, Serenity kept listening to his heartbeat like it'd give an answer. She felt the pulse quicken when he laid eyes on her, and so she smiled gently. Feeling his touch only made her happier. She looked back up at him, her eyes loving, and she moved bringing herself directly over him.

She answered him, "I don't know why we didn't meet sooner. I mean, I saw you around but I had no guts." She paused, pondering her next statement out. "Well... I think everything does happen for a reason. May the reason be good or bad, there is still the reason. I think there was a reason you ported where I ported the day we met. Then something took over me, like a dare. I pounced on you, and now we're here..."

She moved in closer to his face, "And I wouldn't want to be anywhere else." Quickly after she said that, their lips met again. This time in kisses that were long and meaningful. If he wanted to talk, he'd have to find a way to push her away or just give in to her. No words needed to be spoken now for all they had to say was said through their body language. Gently kissing, light caressing, soothing massages.

Her body tingled with sensation as she felt his did too. Their bodies were meant to touch as they did, never meant to separate. It was the most heart filled moment she has had for decades. She didn't want to stop, no, she wanted it to last forever. Her mind was screaming, Don't stop Aiden. Don't let go. Hold me forever.

Serenity took a deep breath, smiling at him for a second before sitting up again. She looked around, the dry surroundings made her mouth yearn for something good to drink. She licked her teeth and twisted her head to look the other way. She wasn't familiar with the area in which they were. She crawled off Aiden, but still held on to his hand. She gave him a small tug, turning him onto his side to face her.

"I am thirsty," she whispered. Dust blew onto her face, "Where can we go?"

She didn't really expect him to know exactly where to go, but she wanted to see what he could come up with in a short amount of time. Though she did not keep track of the time for his response, her mind was so clouded with these racing thoughts. But all heard together seemed to sound like a silent buzzing, you can barely hear it, but you know it's there.

Her hand seemed to become clammy in Aiden's hand. Her body was adjusting to the surroundings. To go from the mortal world to this, requires some skilled cooling techniques. The temperatures were that of an oven on its highest temperature, or at least felt like that to demons. The advantage of having their tough exterior to protect them from a possible cooking. But man, was it hot...

As Aiden walked away, Serenity approached the book shelf. She glanced at the books but as soon as her eye caught sight of a certain book her arm shot up and pulled it out. Immediately, she opened to a passage towards the middle of the book. She scanned the words, the strange language that encrypts ancient spells and curses. Obviously she knew the book very well. A smirk curled over her lips. She heard Aiden grace back to her before she shut the book, glancing at him.

She sipped ever so diligently before placing the cup to the side. Hearing him speak, she ears chose not to listen. Her eyes still scanning the pictures in her mind of the book's passage. She returned the book to its spot on the book shelf and turned back to him. She whispered some words and slowly shut her eyes, the peacefulness in her voice prancing over her soft lips. Before opening her eyes again, her skin began to smooth and her features purified. A light blue tint took to her skin and her hair was nearly black with the deepness of that blue. A light glistened down her body, easing to a silver chain mail outfit. Her body was that of an Amazon goddess, perfect and fatally attractive. A war goddess, and, seeming to be, Serenity's purest form.

Her long eye lashes fluttered as her eyes flowed open. A crystal blue was glowing in the place of her former emerald green. Her smile graced Aiden with the warmth of a fire, not the burnings of hell. A scent of fresh air rose from her velvety skin as she grazed her hand upon Aiden's right cheek. She leaned in and kissed him tenderly on the lips. She nodded, though not knowing what exactly Aiden had said, agreeing to anything her were to say to her. Her body was cool, slight ice forming where she stood. But her body touching his was comforting all on its own. It was like heaven to a lover's heart, the feeling of being blessed though not deserving. She was hell's angel.

She took his arm in hers, awaiting for him to take her where he pleases. Someone who is so violent, so vulgar, has a hidden form of beauty that really was quite amazing to Aiden.

"Take me where you please," she sang, her voice just as soft as her skin.
