Andromorphia is not aligned with any specific Role-Playing Games; be they PC-oriented or pen and paper. However, role-playing is an important part of why this forum is here. The section entitled “Freeform Roleplay” is provided for just such endeavors. As of the last update to this message there is no need to adhere to any specific theme in order to begin and maintain threads in the role-playing forums. If some interest is generated in specific themes I will be happy to considered adding new forums to accommodate.

Beyond role-playing this forum hopes to provide a venue for other written forms of creative expression. In the “The Andromorphia Library” section you will find “The Poetry and Retrospective Prose” forum, which is a place where you may present your heart, soul, humor or whatever in poetic or experimental forms. The “Short Stories and Episodic Novellas” forum is there to provide a space for posting your solo writing endeavors such as individual stories or stories that evolve over time through episodes.

Life goes on around and through us and most of us can’t help having an opinion on some aspect of it, so the “The Andromorphian Theater” section was created as a place to carry on about whatever suits your fancy to carry on about. This differs from the “Generalities, Rants and Other Bugga-Boo” forum by being a bit more formalized and separated from just light conversation.


As it turns out there aren’t a lot of these except for what I should think are common sense. Here’s a quick overview:

The Heavy Stuff - Preliminary

• Verbal abuse of anyone by anyone will not be tolerated. That includes me.
• Spamming (whether commercial or personal) will result in a virtual form of beheading. Details to follow.
• Blatant bigotry, racism, sexism, ageism, religious intolerance or other behavior that falls under the heading of Illegal or Things I Will Not Tolerate will result in censure at best and banning at worst.
• Attempts to hack the server or bulletin board, hijack an account that is not yours or engage in any mischievous and/or miscreant behavior of the computer kind will be met with the immediate de-resolution of your virtual existence in this server. Perhaps even a note or two to outside parties of interest.

The Not-So Heavy Stuff

• Messages must be posted in the appropriate forum. I reserve the right to move any threads that I deem to be in the wrong place.
• The “Bad Word” filter is turned off. If this liberty is misused I will turn it on.
• Large and/or offensive signature pictures are not allowed. Offensive avatars will be removed. Mind you, I have a fairly high tolerance for such things.
• Keep sexual content clearly below the pornographic. Pornographic pictures (anything beyond a Mature rating and even less in the PG13 forum) and links will be stripped naked and flogged out of the forum.

So, other than all of the preceding, please join in and have a good time. Feel free to browse around. If you like, you can say hello in this forum. It's obligatory apparently. *smile* You can ask questions, too.
