They don't post. They don't speak. They don't seem to relate at all to this website.

So - here's the thing.

I like new members. I don't like members who sign up just to farm email addresses.

If you join, then introduce yourself. If you don't introduce yourself, then I nuke you.

That's the way it is.

I know im new and probably have no bizz making a coment but , I think this site is great its one of the few real rp sites that I have found that have exactly what im looking for without the trash thrown in .. and im plan of reffering some people here ..... but I think in some cases people may be afraid to post ... ( Im sure most people who are not posting are probaly fishing) but I think in some cases people may not know exactly where its ok to post and where its not, or they may feel as though they are intruding if they jump into a storyline already running... the directions are very clear , but still , I know personally im a bit intimidated. im outgoing but Some people may not be very out going and sometimes posting feels like your standing infront of a gabillion strangers butt naked. ... it's like looking in a window and wanting to come in but not being sure if its ok . .

I'm not sure if it's all intimidation. I mean, sure. I used to join dozens of sites (still have 'em all in my favorites list), and then not post. At all. But mainly it was because I forgot.

And I have witnessed this crap-- a million people joining and never showing up again. I used to run a site (haha, used to. It's still there, just a ghost town), and we'd have something like fifty people. And only six active users. Hahaha. But I don't know why they all joined and left immediately. Maybe they forgot. Or got intimidated, which I have to say is very plausible. But. My theory is: people are lazy/dumb. No, just listen. Surfing for a good rp site is a hard task. I had a hard time finding anywhere before I found this place. And it rocks. But I can remember in like eighth grade, when I'd just randomly find some okay sites and join. Willy-nilly. (Is that hyphenated?) Anyway. Some people just join. And forget. Don't check their email. Don't remember the site name. Or URL. (Me.) And they kind of just fade into oblivion. Even if you email them, reminding them to get on, they probably don't care. I know I don't sometimes. Or, sometimes, they'll just post on OOC boards and never roleplay. That bugs the heck outta me. GRRR, I just don't get why people join sites and then never get on again.

Haha, want to hear a story? It's funny. Every time we go to the lab in English class, to work on our essays, I get on the internet (who doesn't?) and try to get on Andromorphia. And. The link doesn't work. ...So, I HAVE TO GOOGLE IT. How retarded. I get on at home, type in the URL and it comes up just fine. But no, not at school. Heaven forbid that the internet should work correctly in a publick place. Whoa, I just spelled public with a 'k.' Hahahahaha. Sorry. My ramblings. Hard to control.

So yeah. I think it's inevitable. People are just gonna do that. What I did on Kiwisnow (my old site) was set it so that the accounts had to be approved by admin before they officially became accounts. Then you can email the person and see if they're really going to get on. Or not. If they don't reply, they don't really care. Although, I don't know how these forums work, mine was proboards. So.

Just tell me if my huge posts get annoying. I'll understand.

Good point, Temptress. I'm glad you brought that up. I sometimes forget that there are uncertain people who become members because they like the site, but do not know quite how to join in. I hope people realize that we love new members and want to hear what they have to say. Yet, sometimes it takes a while to get around to that.

lol ! solace im so guilty of just recently joining two sites and never returning ... lol ( hides my face and giggles ) I found this site and never returned .... after I registered (they force you to register before you can read the posts )  I noticed all the posts were ooc , and very third grade , lol . so , I didn'tgo back .. I also used to run a site , well a pportionof a site .. the format was much different than it is here... the pr happens in rooms and its all real tI'me .. everything happens in the first person ... we had about 200 people in six rooms but it became too over run with children who have no desire to really role play and elders who would not teach ..all they did was fight and I became a babysitter it was very stressfull ...  eventually a jealous few stole my room and over there you have the power to lock someone completely out ( there whole system ) so ... lol .... no more me

    I think that that is part of the reason I stayed. I was immediately welcomed when I came , many sites makes you earn your right to be respected in any way shape or form , which was part of my struggle when I was opperating .... getting my mods and other members to be at least a little welcoming to newcomers who seriously just want to role play ... I truly felt like I could actually stay here , and role play from my very first post.

Well, I for one really enjoy your posts. And I can say without reservation that you and ladylovelace have something cool in common. You both have rockin' avatars!

Yes, this website is the best rp website out there...Not to be a kiss up and what not. Sorry I don't post more RPs. I'd put my book up for you all to read since its about vampires and lycans. But Im afraid people I dont know will try to playgerize it. :S Is there some way I can block people from copying and pasting my posts?
