Which of the two stories in this post best deserves the DOTD award?

1) Firemen 'cruised through city centre on their engine trying to pick up women'.

2) Ky. sheriff travels 4,100 miles to Calif., picks up wrong man, then sends him back on plane.

Then again, they might be tragic heroes …
