Kimiko has recently turned twenty-one, and her father has decided that it is time for her to start taking over the lycan empire.  Her mother died when she was fifteen of a festering wound from a lycan taken when she attempted to execute him.  Her has taken a vacation out of contact with the country, leaving Kimiko in charge of the Lycan Gaurd and the day to day runnings of the lycan world. 

This was fine until the Namba incident in which Kimiko must now find and punish the lycan offenders in order to save face in front of Amaya.
