Ok... I need some advice on a story that I will post as soon as I get my home connection going. What kind of dieties would run a sort of nine hundred number request line? How would they advertise? Suggestions?

For some sad reason I managed to miss responding to this thread. I think it's a wonderously clever idea abounding with opportunities for humor and social insight. Not that I have any ideas at the moment, but I will give it some thought!

a love diety or a vengence diety. yeah i think that they would be the most likely canidates. so i just thought i would let you know....

First thing comes to mind is Love, Wealth and Vantiy.

Love's Opening lines: Can't buy me love, this is [insert name here], how can I help?
Wealth's Opening lines: Money makes the world go round, this is [insert name here], talk to me!
Vanity Opening lines: You look fabulous darling!

Or something likes that. I see it as a comical mock-up of stereotypical god's... sorry that is all I got... I've been praying to the porcelain god's for 2 days... so you can use that as inspiration...

Maybe if a 'caller' gets to the wrong line the other god's can transfer them to the appropriate god? I know my lines got crossed at the 'State of wellbeing Deity' and the 'Porcelain  Deity'.
